Bhavan's Vidya Mandir, Poochatty is a private co-educational school located in Poochatty, Thrissur, Kerala, India. During the early days, the school functioned from leased buildings, moving to its present location on December 10, 1986. The then president of India, Gyani Zail Singh, was chief guest for the inaugural function of the new campus. The school has an indoor sports complex, and individual hostels for both boys and girls with a combined strength of 200.The school mess is well known for its vegetarian cuisine. The school hostels are located within the school campus premises behind the school playground. The school has a good team of teaching faculty who has been teaching in this school for the past few decades. BVBVM poochatty is one among the most reputed school in thrissur since earlier time and is well known for its excellence in both sports and academics. Bhavans poochatty holds the overall kerala cbse school sports championship.
